Practice of Now
Life. Sometimes we think it’s a test we need to pass or a problem we need to solve, but the truth is things don’t really get solved. Things grow and things fall apart, and then they come together and grow again and then they fall apart again. It’s just like that. We can observe this cyclical movement easily in nature – like seasons changing or like wind tearing down trees and then carrying seeds and planting them in faraway places to grow – and ultimately we can see it in our own minds as we experience birth, aging and death. My drawings and photographs are explorations of this endlessly creative movement, of waves, winds, sounds.
